My name is Katie Brown. I have co-created and run successful and innovative health, wellbeing and arts services for over 15 years locally and nationally. I’m interested in facilitating processes that take into account all perspectives in the health and wellbeing journeys that health care professionals, health care users and the family and friends that know individuals well, co-manage.
Everything I’ve learnt from doing and thinking has made me clever about developing a sustainable business approach to profit and non-profit organisations. Economically I am influenced by Amartya Sen, The New Economics Foundation and Sep Kamvar
I believe the next great influences in health, mental health and community service commissioning, development and delivery will be big and open data, mobile and increased entrepreneurial, flexibly financed approaches.
